Citrix Discussions is the new support forums that delivers a precise distinction from many other support site, rebranded to coincide with our Citrix’s new corporate VID, with a cleaner, brighter, and to the point UI. The categories have been laid out in a fashion where the eyes will not have to wander to find it. The landing page includes many new features, including a cloud tag where you can check on what the trending word of the day is on the support forums.
Answered Forums
Creating several live prototypes with Axure, running in person user testing, and iterating and enhancing the user experience after several user feedbacks. A visual indicator ‘answered’ that will be tagged on to a thread that has been marked as answered, this way the user will be able to quickly choose and identify a set of possible threads that will be at the very top of other thus by-passing all previous conversations and saving you time from searching.
Hot Thread Indicators
For any conversation that is trending on the forums as well as any thread that has been marked as answered will have special indicators assigned to them so that you are more aware of what is happening in the community. These indicators are also used by Citrites so we can monitor top reported issues and respond more efficiently.
Smart Search
The searching capabilities is that of an automated generation. The intelligent search abilities of the forums will start searching for conversations after you enter at least 4 characters for your search term, the search will display the top 5 most closely matched discussions and then you will have the option to see more results to receive more unique results at which time you can also choose to filter your results based on other criteria.
Perky Badges
Get recognition for the things you know, everyone will like to start learning from you.
Personalized Profile
Your personal profile can now be enhanced with your personality. Include information like your location, occupation, contact information, and even a biography. You have full control of what you would like to share about yourself.
