award-winning e-commerce sites and a dedicated business-to-business sales organization.

Challenge:
Communicating the new Office Depot Professional program to this growing market through Omni-channels.

Pain point:
The customers experience of Office Depot and OfficeMax store was completely fragmented from what they were offering online – we redesigned the experience for user to start their shoppings online and be able to have their purchase shipped for free of available for pick-up in minutes.  

At Office Depot, Inc. I built and led the multi-disciplinary team that designed the end-to-end customer experience, across brand, marketing creative, digital product and package labels for the online properties and onsite locations. 

I hired our first UX Researcher and created an Insights function on my team, which led the research initiatives for Office Depot and OfficeMax, used customer insights to inform product strategy and to inspire design execution to develop the Professional Program.

Providing product vision and direction, I managed a craftsmanship process with 100+ participants to ensure product quality.

I ran cross-functional workshops to set the tone for the company product design strategy.

I consolidated siloed design teams. I scaled and matured the design organization by hiring and mentoring talented designers and design leaders.
My team created a design aesthetic that was a significant advancement from any other e-commerce business at the time.
