ChenMed named to Fortune’s “Change the World” list. The only health delivery company to make the grade. Honoring senior patients with affordable, VIP care that delivers better health. Today, after 30 years, this still guides everything ChenMed does every day.
Using proprietary technology, innovative software, and having an incredible empathy for their users, ChenMed pivoted and offered the most engaging and convenient solution to all their physicians, nurses, and most importantly, to all their vulnerable patients.
I orchestrated the end-to-end experience of ChenMed ecosystem of tools (now CareSuite) from the ground up to do more with less, and to be fast, fluid, and beautifully crafted.
Audience:
Patients,
Ambassadors,
Care Promoters, and
Physicians.
Objectives:
Incremental enhancements to ChenMed ecosystem that will provide a comprehensive, synchronized health view of a patient pre-encounters, during and post encounters in a clinical/non-clinical setting
Pain points:
- Deteriorated physician efficiency with no access to relevant patient information at any time in a patient journey,
- Impair level of patient care provided by the lack of PCP’s access patient information in an office or non-office setting
- Ongoing maintenance/cost of supporting an iOS native mobile solution and achieve savings by building reusable architecture components
I led the UX team of researchers, product designers and engineers, providing them with a product vision and direction, managed a craftsmanship process with 20+ medical centers and 150+ participants to ensure product quality.
My team used customer insights to inform product strategy and to inspire design execution.
My team designed the entire digital experience across platforms.
Taking a deep dive into the company’ culture, the medical center vibe and the physician-patient relationship, I identify what makes the organization unique, establishing these tools for each practices which reflected their strengths. With the new set of tools the medical center easily communicate the company values by having a stronger outcome because they’re actionable. This works toward the platform vision by putting a spotlight on successful behaviors of the staff and patients, and created a shared language around each phase.
We matched system components to the real world.
With the roster we included the colored status bar, which speaks the users’ language by visually representing the color flag outside the patients’ room, indicating if any staff member is engaged with a patient and which physician will be taking care of them, making information appear in a natural and logical order.
